A truck overturned in Bhalwal, killing four people and injuring eight more.

On Wednesday night, a truck turned turtle in Bhalwal, Sargodha District, Punjab, killing at least four persons and injuring eight others.
According to sources, the disaster occurred on the Dhori Road when a truck carrying 12 people and loaded with wheat straw toppled owing to overspeeding, killing four people on the spot and wounding eight more.
Police and rescue crews arrived on the scene after being notified and transported the dead and injured to the hospital. Police identified the deceased as 25-year-old Adeel, 22-year-old Muhammad Ali, 18-year-old Ali and 20-year-old Amjad.
According to police, the accident was caused by excessive speeding. They also stated that the death toll could rise further, as four of the injured were in severe condition.
