Aleema Khan has called for nationwide protests on February 8.

Aleema Khan, the sister of PTI founder Imran Khan, has called for a nationwide demonstration on February 8, stating that those whose votes were “stolen” will come to the streets to demand their rights.

Speaking to the media after a court appearance, she stated that the entire country would shut down to protest what she called election injustice. She claimed that even mentioning Imran Khan’s name elicits strong responses from officials.

Aleema Khan reported that minors were detained outside Adiala Jail for chanting Imran Khan-supporting slogans. She further claimed that police officers secretly expressed support for Imran Khan but feared their superior officials.

She accused police of employing force against PTI supporters at a gathering on Adiala Road, citing baton charges, arrests, and maltreatment of women. According to her, hundreds of police officers were sent to prevent the protest.

She stated that the party would continue its struggle, maintaining that peace would only come after people obtained justice and their stolen mandate was restored.
