Additional constitutional amendments are forthcoming: Khawaja Izhar

Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) leader Khawaja Izharul Hassan forecasted on Thursday that additional constitutional modifications are forthcoming, asserting that more decisive measures are required to resolve the nation’s issues.

Khawaja Izhar stated that the 27th amendment has facilitated the possibility of additional constitutional revisions.

Khawaja Izhar forecasted that a minimum of three modifications will be enacted, following which all matters will be resolved. He criticized the Pakistan People’s Party, asserting that it had devastated Sindh.

During the event, PPP leader Mandokhail stated that the MQM has consistently served as a coalition partner in every administration.

He asserted that Khawaja Asif is denouncing the 18th Amendment in the National Assembly. He stated that rather than ameliorating the wounds of the Sindh administration, he is exacerbating them.

He additionally stated that in 2012, individuals connected to Mustafa Kamal solicited Rs150 million from the proprietors of the Baldia Factory. Upon failure to remit payment, the plant was secured, resulting in the incineration of workers. Hamad Siddiqui, a leader of the MQM, remains at large.
