Karachi Gas Notification: SSGC declares a 48-hour gas suspension for industrial facilities and CNG stations.

The Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) has declared a 48-hour gas suspension for the industrial and CNG sectors, commencing at 8:00 AM on January 24 and concluding at 8:00 AM on January 26.

The SSGC announced in a social media post that gas supplies to all industries, including captive power plants and all CNG stations (including those utilizing RLNG), will be halted.

The initiative seeks to uphold optimal gas pressure for both residential and commercial users.

The utility provider asserted that this measure was essential due to the increase in demand during the high winter season.

The SSGC recommended that residential clients encountering low gas pressure should reach out to their 24/7 helpdesk at 1199. The organization guaranteed that its personnel is vigilant to address issues swiftly.

The regular gas load management schedule for residential and commercial sectors will persist daily from 10:00 PM to 5:00 AM.
