Under the direction of Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah, a subcommittee has been established to examine the Gul Plaza tragedy probe report.
Provincial ministers Sharjeel Inam Memon, Nasir Hussain Shah, Saeed Ghani, and Ziaul-Hassan Lanjar are members of the subcommittee, which is led by Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah.
The committee will review the results of an investigation committee headed by the commissioner of Karachi. The committee will decide on next steps after reviewing the Gul Plaza tragedy probe report.
Affected traders will receive Rs 500,000 for a two-month period, according to Murad Ali Shah. Within two months, he added, they will also have access to other stores. Each of the families who lost a loved one in the incident would receive Rs 10 million.
