Date for Lahore High Court Bar elections has been declared.

The contention regarding the timing of the Lahore High Court Bar elections was settled during a meeting of the office-bearers of opposing lawyers’ factions on Wednesday.
The Lahore High Court Bar’s annual elections are scheduled for February 28, following resolutions reached between the office-bearers of the Professional Group and the Independent Group.
The lawyers have collectively resolved that the Lahore High Court Bar elections will be administered using a biometric technology. Attorneys from both the Independent Group and the Professional Group attended the meeting.
A unanimous agreement was attained about the election timetable. The conference was chaired by President Malik Asif Ali Naswana of the Lahore High Court Bar.
Vice Chairman of the Pakistan Bar Council, Pir Masood Chishti, Member Ishtiaq A. Khan, Shafqat Mahmood Chauhan, and additional office-bearers attended the meeting.
