Field Marshal Munir claims that Pakistan’s armed forces are prepared to defend the country from any threat.

Field Marshal Asim Munir, the Commander of Defence Forces (CDF) and Chief of Army Staff (COAS), visited Bahawalpur Garrison and received a briefing on the administrative, training, and operational facets of the Corps, with a particular emphasis on multi-domain warfare preparations.

At Khairpur Tamewali (KPT), the COAS & CDF observed a high-intensity Field Exercise called “Steadfast Resolve,” which reflected the Armed Forces’ emphasis on technology-enabled multi-domain operations by integrating specialized technologies like unmanned aerial systems (drones), sophisticated surveillance assets, Electronic Warfare assets, and contemporary command-and-control mechanisms.

Field Marshal Munir praised the soldiers’ excellent morale, professionalism, and operational readiness while speaking to them. He emphasized the need to maintain optimal readiness to meet the demands of future battlefield and security challenges while reiterating that the Pakistani armed forces are still fully prepared to defend Pakistan’s sovereignty and territorial integrity against all threats.

The Pakistani Armed Forces are going through significant change in a number of areas, as COAS and CDF pointed out. The nature of war has drastically changed as a result of technological developments, which have forced significant mental changes at all levels. Physical maneuvers will eventually be replaced by technological ones, which will also drastically change how offensive and defensive operations are carried out. As a result, the Pakistani military is rapidly adopting and assimilating technology. Innovation, indigenization, and adaptation will continue to be essential components of this process.

The ROHI eSkills Learning Hub (STP), which was previously opened by Field Marshal Asim Munir, aims to promote digital skills and learning opportunities for students nationwide, especially those from Southern Punjab. Additionally, he reaffirmed the Pakistan Army’s dedication to high-quality education and character development by launching the APS Abbasia Campus.

He was briefed on the maintenance regimen to sustain modern platforms through advanced technologies, indeginization, and other combat support measures during the COAS & CDF’s subsequent visit to the EME Regional Workshop.

Commander Bahawalpur Corps had previously received the COAS & CDF upon his arrival at Bahawalpur Garrison. In addition, he offered Fateha and placed a floral wreath at Yadgar-e-Shuhada to honor the martyrs’ supreme sacrifices.
