PTI expresses concern on Imran Khan’s health: Salman Akram Raja

Senior Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Salman Akram Raja stated on Thursday that the PTI is apprehensive regarding the health of the party’s founder, Imran Khan.
Salman Akram Raja asserted that the issue transcends politics and pertains to health. Transporting him to the hospital clandestinely at night without notifying the family is intolerable. He insisted that physicians from Shaukat Khanum Hospital be permitted to confer with the PTI founder.
He additionally stated that the physicians would exclusively address medical issues, asserting that their endeavour is nonviolent, constitutional, and humanitarian.
Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar clarified reports concerning the health of PTI founder Imran Khan, asserting that Imran Khan is in excellent health.
He verified that PTI founder and former Prime Minister Imran Khan underwent a 20-minute medical operation for an ocular condition at the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) in Islamabad.
Tarar stated that the former premier, presently detained in Rawalpindi’s Adiala Jail, underwent an examination by ophthalmologists while in custody. In accordance with their recommendation, he was transferred to PIMS on the evening of January 24 for the procedure.
βAt PIMS, his ocular condition was reassessed, and with his written consent, a brief medical intervention was conducted.β He was subsequently returned to Adiala jail with significant directives,β Tarar stated.
