Cold and arid weather anticipated throughout Pakistan, with moderate precipitation and snowfall predicted in northern regions.

The Meteorological Department has released a 24-hour weather forecast.

The majority of the nation is anticipated to see frigid and arid weather, whereas mountainous regions may endure extreme cold temperatures.

Northern Balochistan, Gilgit-Baltistan, upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Kashmir are expected to see partly cloudy to overcast conditions, accompanied by light precipitation and snowfall in certain areas.

Today, the majority of regions saw cold and arid conditions, with analogous weather in elevated places. Precipitation in the form of light rain and snow was observed in certain areas of Gilgit-Baltistan, upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and northern Balochistan.

Recorded minimum temperatures are as follows: Leh -9°C, Gopis -7°C, Astor and Kalam -6°C, Malam Jabba and Skardu -4°C, Ziarat -3°C, and Parachinar, Hunza, and Qalat -2°C.

In major cities: Islamabad 5°C, Quetta 2°C, Qalat -2°C, Murree 0°C, Lahore 7°C, Karachi 12°C, Peshawar 6°C, and Muzaffarabad 3°C.
