For the third day in a row, train services from Quetta are still suspended.

Train services from Quetta to other regions of the nation and Chaman would continue to be suspended today, according to railway authorities.

Pakistan Railways reports that because of the current circumstances, the Bolan Mail service between Karachi and Quetta has been halted until February 12.

According to railway officials, the railroads have already suffered losses surpassing Rs 3 million as a result of the ongoing suspension of train services from Balochistan to inland districts and Chaman.

In the meantime, communication and transportation in the area have been further disrupted by the closure of the Quetta–Taftan National Highway and the Dera Ismail Khan–Loralai National Highway, which link Punjab and Balochistan, for the last five days.

A schedule for the complete restoration of transport services has not yet been released by the authorities.
