On February 11, KP local government members declare a protest for the entire province.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa local government delegates have declared that they will protest the province’s ongoing abuse of the local government system by taking to the streets on February 11.

The Local Councils Association Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will organize the protest sit-in, which will take place at Peshawar’s Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly Chowk.

Zubair Ali, the mayor of Peshawar, predicted that the sit-in on February 11 will be historic. He asserted that the province’s local governments have been immobilized for the previous four years and that a significant number of mayors, tehsil and village council chairmen, will take part. He said that the Local Government Act was amended in accordance with a carefully considered plan.
