The top provincial minister stated that Mian Nawaz Sharif is highly satisfied with the reinstatement of the Basant celebration. She stated that it was his mandate to pursue additional measures for public leisure. She stated that Basant will be celebrated not only in Lahore but also in Gujranwala, Faisalabad, and other cities.

She stated that she has requested retailers to supply kites to the public at reasonable prices and has also directed the deputy commissioner and commissioner to guarantee that kites are offered to the populace at reduced rates.
She implored locals to commemorate Basant safely, encouraging motorcyclists to refrain from venturing out over the three days of the kite flying event without the installation of protective rods. She stated that 500 checkpoints will be established in Lahore, and measures will be implemented against legal infractions.
The senior provincial minister said that Basant will be observed on February 6, 7, and 8. Protective rods will be required on motorcycles throughout the festival, and complimentary transportation will be provided during the three days of kite flying.
She additionally stated that electric buses, metro buses, the Orange Line rail, and rickshaws managed by online transportation businesses will be provided at no cost to citizens.
