Military leadership reaffirms steadfast support for Kashmiris’ quest for freedom.

Field Marshal Asim Munir, Chief of Army Staff (COAS) and Commander of Defence Forces (CDF), Admiral Naveed Ashraf, Chief of Naval Staff, and Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu, Chief of Air Staff, on behalf of the Pakistan Armed Forces, reiterated their steadfast support for the resilient populace of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) in their monumental quest for self-determination.

On the solemn occasion of Kashmir Solidarity Day, the Pakistan Armed Forces unequivocally condemned severe human rights violations in IIOJK, encompassing extrajudicial killings, enforced disappearances, arbitrary detentions, and efforts to modify the demographic and political landscape of the region, in flagrant violation of international law.

We emphasize that a fair and tranquil resolution of the Jammu and Kashmir conflict, in alignment with pertinent United Nations Security Council Resolutions and the desires of the Kashmiri populace, is crucial for enduring peace and security in South Asia. The global world must implement tangible and significant measures to mitigate the distress of the Kashmiri populace.

The Armed Forces of Pakistan are resolute in their commitment to protect the nation’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, and steadfast in their support for their Kashmiri compatriots in their legitimate pursuit of independence and dignity.
