In the protest case, the ATC issued non-bailable arrest warrants for Aleema Khan.

Aleema Khan was given non-bailable arrest warrants by a Rawalpindi anti-terrorism court (ATC) on Tuesday, instructing police to take her into custody and appear in court on Wednesday.

A case pertaining to the protest on November 26 was being heard in court. After Aleema Khan’s request for an exemption from appearing was denied by the court and a written order was issued, the proceedings were postponed until Wednesday.

A special police squad arrived at the scene to execute the arrest warrants after receiving an instruction from the court. DSP Syed Azhar Shah supervised the team and managed the procedure to guarantee adherence to the court decision.

After several absences, the court has taken a clear stand, according to legal commentators, marking the beginning of a key phase in the case.
