The SC Orders Imran Khan to get medical attention and access to a phone.

The Supreme Court has not yet made a decision in the case that is contesting the trial of the Toshakhana criminal case against the PTI founder. However, it has told the authorities to make sure that his eye exam is done by February 16.
Chief Justice Yahya Afridi and Justice Shahid Bilal made up a two-member court that heard the matter about the PTI founder’s prison conditions and facilities.
The Attorney General and Barrister Salman Safdar both went to court.
During the session, Barrister Salman Safdar read a report that said the PTI founder was happy with the food and security arrangements in jail.
Chief Justice Yahya Afridi said that the court would make the right decision after looking over the report’s suggestions.
He said that the Islamabad High Court would have to make a decision before the case could move on. He also said that the court had not yet made a decision about the health of the PTI founder.

The chief justice made it clear that health was the most important problem and that they would look into what the government had to say about it.
The attorney general told the court that it is the state’s job to provide medical care to inmates and promised that if the prisoner was unhappy, the right procedures would be taken.
He also said that phone contacts with kids were vital and that he trusted the government’s response.
The Supreme Court said that the PTI founder’s eye exam and phone chat with his kids must happen before February 16.
The attorney general promised to follow the court’s orders.
The court turned down a plea to let a family member be there during the medical test. It further noted that the PTI founder would get books if doctors suggested reading as part of their medical treatment.
