PMD forecasts dry, cold weather across.

For the next 24 hours, the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has primarily predicted dry, cold weather throughout much of the country. According to the PMD, most areas are expected to continue to experience the current cold and dry spell over the next few days.

On the other hand, it is anticipated that the hilly areas will continue to have partly overcast, extremely cold morning and nighttime conditions. Isolated locations of Gilgit-Baltistan may see light rain or snowfall.

Early morning and evening temperatures are predicted to be cool, while the weather in the federal capital and surrounding areas will continue to be dry. It’s predicted to blow gusty winds during the day.

While the higher districts of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa are predicted to be extremely cold both during the morning and at night, the most of the districts will enjoy cold and dry weather. In the northern regions, partly overcast conditions are predicted, with the possibility of light rain or snowfall in Chitral, Dir, Swat, and the neighboring areas.

In Punjab, the most of the districts will see dry weather, with cool mornings and nights. It is anticipated that Murree, Galiyat, and the surrounding areas will continue to be dry and cold, while the province’s central and southern regions may experience gusty winds during the day.

The weather in Sindh will continue to be mostly dry, while Balochistan is expected to stay partly cloudy and dry in most districts, with cool morning and evening temperatures in the northern parts.

The weather in Kashmir is predicted to be cold and partly cloudy, with extremely low temperatures in the morning and at night. In isolated areas, Gilgit-Baltistan may see partially cloudy skies, light rain, and snowfall.
