Tahir Ashrafi promises that unity will fight extremism.

Hafiz Muhammad Tahir Mehmood Ashrafi, the chairman of the Ulema Council, stated on Thursday that religious harmony is urgently needed and pledged to combat extremism by uniting.
Speaking to the media, Tahir Ashrafi said that Islam promotes peace and that solidarity and togetherness will combat extremism. He claimed that terrorists don’t practice any faith and that cooperation will be needed to overcome terrorism.
Tahir Ashrafi went on to say that anybody who aid terrorists will also be destroyed.
