PM Shehbaz and President Zardari congratulate the country on the launch of the EO-2 satellite.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and President Asif Ali Zardari have congratulated the country on the successful launch of EO-2, Pakistan’s second domestic electro-optical satellite.

President Zardari praised SUPARCO’s scientists, engineers, and researchers in a statement for their preparedness and successful EO-2 launch.

He also highlighted the expanding strategic collaboration between Pakistan and China in space research and technology and thanked the Chinese government and institutions for their assistance.

The EO-2 scientific and research teams’ work were commended by PM Shehbaz.

According to him, the satellite would offer crucial information and photos to help with national urban planning and climate monitoring.

Another significant advancement in Pakistan’s space capabilities was made with the successful launch of EO-2 by the Pakistan Space and Upper Atmosphere Research Commission from the Yangjiang Seashore Launch Centre in China.
