Punjab sets the public sector’s Ramadan office hours.

The Punjab government has released a notification announcing the updated office hours for all provincial ministries during the holy month of Ramadan.

The announcement states that government agencies that follow a five-day workweek will be open Monday through Thursday from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm.

Departments that follow a six-day workweek will be open Monday through Thursday from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm.

During Ramadan, office hours will be from 9:00 am to 12:30 pm on Fridays throughout the province.

According to officials, the updated timetable attempts to accommodate staff members while guaranteeing continuous provision of public services across Punjab and administrative activities in line with Pakistani national standards.
