SBP announces updated Ramadan banking hours.

For the holy month of Ramadan, the State Bank of Pakistan has announced updated banking hours that will be implemented immediately in all banks across the country.

During Ramadan, banks will be available for public transactions Monday through Thursday from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm, the central bank said in an official statement.

Customers can access banking services on Fridays from 9:00 am to 12:30 pm.

In order to guarantee continuous financial services throughout the nation, the State Bank made it clear that there will be no breaks during business hours during Ramadan.

To make things easier for banking employees and clients throughout the month-long fast, a revised schedule has been implemented.

According to officials, the revised timings are intended to preserve seamless financial operations while conforming to the Ramadan work schedules observed by Pakistan’s diverse industries. The updated timings must be rigorously followed by all commercial banks.
