Azma Bokhari outlines relief measures and cautions against overpricing during Ramadan.

Profiteering will not be allowed during Ramadan, according to Punjab Information Minister Azma Bokhari, and price limits would be strictly enforced throughout the province.

Speaking at a press conference, she stated that the Nigahban Ramadan Package is a financial help program that the provincial government, led by Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, is offering to worthy families.

Ramadan relief cards are being sent to homes, and over four million families are receiving Rs 10,000 apiece.

According to her, the cards will be distributed by March 10 and there are no fees or PIN codes needed to use them.

Additionally, she declared that the “Maryam Ke Mehman Dastarkhwan” initiative will provide daily iftar lunches for around 2,000 individuals every tehsil.

Special Assistant for Consumer Protection and Food Safety More than 4.2 million families, including newly added beneficiaries and those from minority communities, would receive cards, according to Salma Butt.

Ramadan bazaars will offer subsidized food goods, such as sugar, flour, chicken, and eggs, at lower costs than the open market, according to officials.
