Illuminated and adorned cities of Punjab greet the month of fasting.

Following the directions of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, cities and villages throughout the province have been adorned with ornamental lights and thematic installations during Ramazan, enhancing key highways, markets, and public areas.
Preparations to welcome the holy month are in full progress in Rawalpindi, as said in a handout. Neon signs displaying the motto “Ramazan Nigehban” have been erected, and key thoroughfares, marketplaces, and crossroads have been illuminated. Greenbelts are adorned with vibrant lights and illuminated inscriptions of Allah’s names have been exhibited along major thoroughfares, fostering a celebratory ambiance. Trees along to primary thoroughfares have been adorned with vivid illumination.
Market gates showcase arch-shaped lighting works inspired by the Ramazan motif. Streets and bazaars in Chakwal and Talagang have been adorned per the chief minister’s directives, while illuminated arches at Nigehban Ramazan Bazaars and Dastarkhwan centers have garnered public interest.
Comparable arrangements have been established at Attock, Khushab, Mianwali, Faisalabad, Bahawalpur, Nankana Sahib, Sargodha, Vehari, Gujrat, and Muzaffargarh.
Electric illumination has improved the atmosphere of Multan, Khanewal, Lodhran, Rajanpur, Dera Ghazi Khan, Bahawalnagar, Sahiwal, and Pakpattan. In Murree, serpentine roadways have been adorned with colorful lighting to commemorate the sacred month.
Pushcart bazaars in multiple locations have been illuminated to commemorate the onset of Ramazan. The provincial administration aims to facilitate citizens and enhance the festive spirit across Punjab by providing necessary food goods at subsidized rates in Sahulat and Ramazan bazaars.
