Peer Muhammad Shah was reinstated as Karachi’s DIG of Traffic.

After being suspended from his position last month due to allegations of traffic mismanagement after the Gul Plaza fire disaster, Peer Mohammad Shah has been reinstated as the DIG Traffic Karachi.

Mazhar Nawaz Shaikh, who was appointed following Shah’s departure, has had his additional charge of DIG Traffic Karachi revoked, according to an official announcement.

According to sources, Peer Mohammad Shah was fired because of his poor traffic control after the Gul Plaza disaster.

The tragedy, which included a terrible fire, claimed 79 lives and destroyed more than 1,000 stores.
