Naqvi confers with the temporary Chief Minister of Gilgit-Baltistan, pledging comprehensive security assistance during the elections.

Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi convened with Caretaker Chief Minister of Gilgit-Baltistan, Justice (R) Yar Muhammad Khan, on Saturday.
The meeting addressed security measures for elections in Gilgit-Baltistan, law and order maintenance, and the enhancement of tourism in the region.
The Caretaker Chief Minister announced that the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) in Gilgit-Baltistan will shortly become active.
Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi pledged comprehensive assistance in supplying advanced technology and armaments to enhance the capabilities of the CTD.
The Interior Minister further guaranteed that all needs of Gilgit-Baltistan will be met.
He asserted that more staff would be assigned for the polls to provide security. He asserted that law and order shall be preserved at any costs.
Mohsin Naqvi stated that a secure and tranquil environment is an essential necessity for the advancement of tourism.
