Four Indian-backed terrorists eliminated in DI Khan operation

On Monday, security personnel executed a targeted intelligence-based operation (IBO) in the Dera Ismail Khan district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, aimed at the alleged presence of terrorists associated with the India-supported Fitna al Khwarij group.

During the operation, forces confronted the insurgents at the designated site. Following a vigorous gunfight, four khwarij were eliminated.

Arms and munitions were seized from the terrorists, who had been engaged in various terrorist operations throughout the region.

The operation sought to disrupt a cell engaged in planning assaults and destabilizing the region.

Sanitization activities are under progress to detect and eliminate any remaining India-sponsored khwarij in the district. This operation is integral to the continuous counter-terrorism initiative aligned with the national vision “Azm-e-Istehkam,” sanctioned by the Federal Apex Committee on the National Action Plan.

Security forces and law enforcement agencies assert that they are persistently pursuing their effort to eliminate foreign-sponsored terrorism throughout Pakistan. The project continues to operate at full capacity to guarantee the safety and stability of at-risk regions.
