Islamabad has been placed on high alert following the cancellation of leaves for senior police officers.

Officials have instructed all supervisory officers of the Islamabad Police to report for duty without delay. All types of leave have been suspended until further notice.

Law enforcement officials announced that previously sanctioned leaves have been rescinded with immediate effect. Stringent administrative measures are being enforced in response to the emergency situation.
