A vehicle accident near Lahore claimed two lives and injured eight.

A traffic collision at the National Highway in the Chohang area, close to Lahore, on Sunday claimed the lives of at least two persons and injured eight more.

Details indicate that two people were killed instantly and eight others were injured when a van travelling from Lahore to Phool Nagar ran off the road due to excessive driving and struck a roadside electric poll.

After being notified, police and emergency personnel arrived on the scene and took the injured and deceased to the hospital.
