On Holi, Sindh declares a two-day holiday for its Hindu workers.

In honor of Holi, the Sindh government has declared a two-day holiday for all Hindu workers in the state.

In honor of the holy festival, Hindu personnel in government agencies will take Tuesday and Wednesday, March 3 and 4, off, according to a formal announcement made by the provincial authorities.

According to the statement, the vacations will be observed across Sindh and are especially planned for Hindu personnel so they can take part in Holi celebrations.

The Hindu community in Pakistan and around the world celebrates Holi, also referred to as the festival of colors. The celebration, which heralds the entrance of spring, represents happiness, rebirth, and the victory of good over evil.

According to provincial officials, the ruling demonstrates the government’s dedication to religious tolerance and minority community respect in Sindh, which is home to a sizable Hindu population.

Minority communities in Sindh have historically been granted extra time off on their religious holidays, enabling them to celebrate significant spiritual and cultural occasions without having their job status impacted.

According to the official announcement, the two-day vacation will be held from March 3 to March 4.
