Pakistan and Saudi Arabia implore Iran to exhibit caution in light of the regional turmoil.

Field Marshal Asim Munir, Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defense Forces, visited Saudi Arabia and conferred with Prince Khalid Bin Salman, the Defence Minister of the Kingdom.

Both parties addressed the seriousness of the security situation resulting from Iranian drone and missile assaults on the Kingdom and the collaborative actions required to mitigate them under the Strategic Mutual Defence Agreement.

The ISPR statement emphasized that unjustified violence weakens regional security and stability, hence precluding alternatives for the peaceful resolution of problems.

Both Pakistan and Saudi Arabia expressed optimism that the fraternal nation of Iran would demonstrate prudence and wisdom to avert any miscalculations and bolster the efforts of amicable nations pursuing a peaceful resolution to the situation.
