Visa appointment cancellations in Pakistan are extended by the US until March 13.

US citizens residing in Pakistan will continue to receive routine and emergency services from the US Embassy in Islamabad.

Nevertheless, all appointments for both immigrant and nonimmigrant visas that were set for March 9–13 have been canceled.

Instructions on how to reschedule their visa appointments will be sent to applicants impacted by the cancellations via email.

In the meantime, the US Consulates General in Karachi and Lahore continue to temporarily halt all consular functions.
