Hafiz Naeemur Rehman, the leader of Jamaat-e-Islami (JI), asserted that individuals criticizing Iran are functioning as proxies for Israel and the United States, and underscored that the Pakistani populace is united in support of Iran.

In response to the persistent regional tensions, he condemned the government for increasing petrol prices despite sufficient supply, deeming the Rs 55 hike a significant hardship on the average people.

He emphasized that the government garners approximately Rs50 billion monthly from petrol fees, disproportionately affecting the middle class, which is already grappling with inflation, energy expenses, and taxation.

He additionally charged prominent sugar mill proprietors with tax evasion, while average individuals endure the consequences of governmental policy.

He condemned the sale of Pakistan International Airlines for Rs10 billion, while a jet valued at Rs11 billion was allegedly acquired for Maryam Nawaz. He additionally proposed that official vehicles should not above 1300cc.

He observed that in Karachi, Rs4,000 million allocated over three years yielded only two small streets, while the protracted KE-4 project remains unfinished after 15 years.

In discussing regional security, Hafiz Naeem cautioned that after Iran, Turkiye and Pakistan may also attract Israeli attention. He asserted that Iran would remain resolute and that any pressure from Israel could ultimately impact Pakistan.

He urged Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif to issue an apology to the people for comments implying that US President Donald Trump deserves the Nobel Prize, calling for the government to adopt a position distinct from that of the Peace Board.
