Saudi Arabia cautions Iran of significant consequences should the situation intensify.

On Monday, Saudi Arabia asserted that Iran’s conduct towards the Kingdom and other Gulf nations lacks prudence and a sincere intention to prevent a wider regional escalation.
The Saudi Gazette reports that the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that Iran’s ongoing assaults signify a perilous escalation that might have grave implications for current and future relations.
Saudi Arabia dismissed statements made by Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian, who asserted that Tehran did not intend to target neighboring nations.
The Kingdom asserts that the Iranian side has failed to execute the declaration in practice, both during and subsequent to the president’s address, and has persisted in its assaults predicated on unfounded rationalizations devoid of factual support, according to the statement.
Riyadh also rejected assertions that fighter jets and aerial refueling aircraft stationed in Saudi territory were engaged in the current combat.
The Saudi Arabian foreign ministry states that the aircraft are performing defensive patrols to surveil and safeguard the airspace of Saudi Arabia and other Gulf Cooperation Council nations against Iranian missiles and drones.
The ministry stated that assaults on civilian infrastructure, such as airports and oil installations, reflect an intent to jeopardize regional security and stability, constituting a blatant infringement of international law and agreements.
Saudi Arabia reaffirmed its vehement condemnation of the Iranian assaults directed at the Kingdom, GCC member states, and various Arab, Islamic, and allied nations.
