Petroleum price increases are illegal, according to Barrister Gohar.

Barrister Gohar Ali Khan, the chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), declared on Monday that the price increase for petroleum products is unlawful and unconstitutional.
Barrister Gohar told reporters outside Parliament House Islamabad that the PTI did everything in its power to be permitted to speak in the legislature.
He claimed that Rs 55 increase in petroleum prices is unconstitutional and illegal. Although oil marketing businesses are obligated to have their own inventory, prices were raised when stock was unavailable.
Barrister Gohar added that this unlawful action was taken even though the government has raised petroleum rates on February 28 for a fortnight. He went on to say that oil marketing firms shouldn’t have received public funds.
