Customs is blasted by Sharjeel for seizing a Sindh government car.

Senior minister Sharjeel Memon harshly condemned Pakistan Customs on Saturday for confiscating a Sindh government vehicle on the grounds that customs tax had not been paid.

Sharjeel Memon stated on social media that the truck was allegedly not paid for by customs.

The car belonged to the Sindh Information Department, according to a Sindh minister who shared the vehicle’s documents on X. “All government documents of the vehicle were shown to concerned officials,” he stated.

He said that the vehicle was bought from one of the company’s official stores.

According to the minister, this mindset has proven unacceptable. He requested that Pakistan Customs provide a written apology for the action and turn over the impounded car to the relevant authority right away.
