For flights to Islamabad, the Pakistan Airport Authority publishes a fresh NOTAM.

Six sectors in the Lahore Flight Information Region (FIR) will be temporarily closed on March 16, according to a new NOTAM issued by the Pakistan Airport Authority for flights to and from Islamabad Airport.

The warning states that between 8:30 and 10:30 a.m. on that day, commercial aircraft are not allowed to land or take off from Islamabad Airport.

If an aircraft is already in the air, it must hold and wait for permission to land.

In order to guarantee safety while waiting in the air, the NOTAM also advises pilots to bring extra fuel throughout the impacted period.
