The US says its current operation in Iran has hit 9,000 targets.

Over 140 Iranian vessels have been damaged or destroyed by US troops during the campaign, according to a CENTCOM data sheet.

Strategic bombers, fighter jets, drones, and missile defense systems operating in the air, sea, and ground domains were all part of the operation, according to the US military.

When Israel and the United States struck Iran together on February 28, regional tensions increased.

The strikes claimed the lives of almost 1,300 people, including Ali Khamenei, the Supreme Leader of Iran at the time.

Iran retaliated by attacking Israel and the Gulf nations that house US military installations with drones and missiles.

According to CENTCOM, the ongoing action has resulted in the deaths of 13 US personnel and injuries to almost 200 more.
