15 militants are killed when US-Israeli airstrikes bomb the headquarters of an Iraqi group.

An escalation of US-Israeli assaults against one of Tehran’s principal regional partners occurred on Tuesday when apparent US-Israeli airstrikes struck the headquarters of Iraq’s umbrella organization for Iran-backed militia and the leader’s home.

According to two security sources, Falih Al Fayadh, the leader of the Popular Mobilization Forces, was not there when his home in the northern city of Mosul—which he only visits—was attacked.

According to the reports and a statement from the group, at least fifteen PMF militants were killed in the airstrikes that targeted the group’s headquarters in the Euphrates valley region of Anbar, Iraq.

According to the statement, US soldiers attacked a command center in Anbar while employees were on duty.

Senior commanders were present at the conference when the strikes occurred, according to security sources.

According to security and medical sources, thirty more persons were injured.

According to the medical sources, the death toll may increase and some of the injured were in severe condition.

The PMF, sometimes called Hashd Al Shaabi in Arabic, is an umbrella organization of paramilitary groups that was officially incorporated into Iraq’s national security forces. It comprises a number of Iran-aligned groups.
