Pakistan holds a flag-raising ceremony in Abu Dhabi to commemorate its 86th Pakistan Day.

To commemorate the 86th Pakistan Day, the Islamic Republic of Pakistan’s Embassy in Abu Dhabi hosted a dignified flag-hoisting ceremony with enthusiastic national participation.

The national anthem was played after Pakistan’s ambassador, Shafqat Ali Khan, raised the flag to start the event. On this occasion, special messages were read out by the Prime Minister, the President of Pakistan, and the Deputy Prime Minister/Foreign Minister.

In his speech, Ambassador Shafqat Ali Khan honored the Muslims of the subcontinent’s protracted, historic, and sacrifice-filled fight that resulted in the establishment of Pakistan.

He underlined that in order to overcome present difficulties and create a stable, successful, and powerful Pakistan, national peace, tolerance, and unity are crucial. Additionally, he restated Pakistan’s unwavering position on the people of Indian-illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir’s right to self-determination.

The ambassador thanked the UAE government and its citizens for their hospitality, support, and opportunities for the Pakistani community, emphasizing the significance of close bilateral ties between Pakistan and the UAE.

He asked the Pakistani community to fully observe local laws, customs, and the directives of Emirati authorities while praising their beneficial contributions to the development and prosperity of the UAE.
