Donald Trump discusses PM Shehbaz’s proposal to host US-Iran negotiations.

On his social media account, Truth Social, US President Donald Trump shared a tweet from Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif that highlighted Pakistan’s invitation to hold talks meant to ease Middle East tensions.
According to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Pakistan would be proud to host negotiations if both Iran and the US agree.
The Prime Minister stressed in his statement that Pakistan is prepared to host significant and fruitful talks and that it supports ongoing regional and international peace initiatives. Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, US President Donald Trump, and US Special Envoy for the Middle East Steve Witkoff were all mentioned in the statement.
