Iran denies Trump’s claims of negotiations and issues a warning against any coercion.

Iran’s Revolutionary Guards have rejected statements made by US President Donald Trump about talks.

Ibrahim Zulfaqari, a spokesperson for the Revolutionary Guards, questioned in a statement whether Trump was negotiating with himself because of internal US tensions.

He cautioned that Trump shouldn’t call his mistakes a deal.

Zulfaqari continued, “Neither the old oil prices nor the previous system will return without Iran’s consent.”

The possibility of a Middle East truce reducing supply interruption causes oil prices to decline.

He reiterated that Iran’s position is definite and non-negotiable, and that any thoughts of taking action against Iran must be abandoned.

This comes after Trump asserted that Iran had made major oil and gas concessions, that the country was eager to forgo nuclear weapons, and that the new Iranian leadership was amenable to a deal.
