Parts of the country are hit by intense rain, resulting in three fatalities and two injuries.

As severe rains battered regions of the country, including KP, Punjab, Islamabad, and Karachi, the roof of a house fell in Bannu, killing three children and injuring two.

There have been reports of heavy rain in several Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) cities. In Bannu, a house’s roof collapsed due to heavy rain, killing three children and injuring two.

One Sher Muhammad’s five children were buried beneath the roof’s debris. His two daughters and a son perished as a result, but his two wounded sons were saved after a rescue effort.

Numerous Punjabi cities, including Lahore, Jhang, Bahawalpur, Mianwali, Yazman, Cholistan, Rawalpindi, and others, recorded rain. Islamabad was showered as well.

Up till March 31, the Meteorological Department forecast sporadic rain in Lahore.

There were reports of moderate to heavy rain in Lahore. Numerous locations were submerged in water during the downpour. Many areas were left in the dark due to a disruption in the power supply. More rain is predicted for the city and its environs, according to the Met Office.

In Karachi and many other Balochistani cities, including Quetta, rain is also anticipated.
