Bushra Bibi receives an eye examination at Adiala Jail due to hazy eyesight.

According to jail sources, Bushra Bibi, the wife of Imran Khan, the founder of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), had a medical examination at Adiala Jail after complaining of pain and vision problems in her right eye.

Officials claim that Dr. Muhammad Arif Khan, the head of the ophthalmology department at Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS), examined her on Saturday at around 2:00 pm at Central Jail Rawalpindi.

According to medical authorities, Bushra Bibi had been dealing with flashes, dark spots, and distorted vision in her right eye for the previous eleven days. She also mentioned having headaches a lot.

She was found to have astigmatism, myopia, and posterior vitreous detachment (PVD) in the affected eye. In addition to prescribing medication, eye drops, and corrective glasses, doctors advised a four-week follow-up check.

Imran Khan also had a little eye surgery earlier this year. A few days later, Information Minister Ataullah Tarar verified that physicians at PIMS had examined him again and carried out a quick procedure that took around 20 minutes after getting his permission.
