Apple tests Siri feature that handles multiple commands at once

According to Bloomberg News on Tuesday, Apple (AAPL.O) is exploring a feature that would allow Siri to handle several requests in a single inquiry, bringing the virtual assistant closer to the capabilities of more recent AI agents.
According to Bloomberg, which cited sources with knowledge of the situation, the functionality is being incorporated into the iOS 27, iPadOS 27, and macOS 27 operating systems, all of which are anticipated to ship later this year.
A request for comment from Reuters was not immediately answered by Apple.
With technology from Alphabet’s (GOOGL.O) Gemini AI model, the iPhone manufacturer has been preparing an enhanced version of Siri for delivery this year. At its next Worldwide Developers Conference on June 8, Apple is anticipated to present the updated Siri and new Apple Intelligence features.
The redesign of Siri is an essential component of Apple’s plan to overtake its Big Tech competitors in the AI race following the lackluster reception of its initial Apple Intelligence release in 2024.
A media story claims that Apple intends to transform Siri into its first artificial intelligence chatbot, Campos, which will replace the existing Siri interface and be fully integrated into the Mac, iPhone, and iPad operating systems.
According to a media source last week, Apple is reportedly considering opening Siri to competitor AI services outside of its present collaboration with ChatGPT.
