Over the next 12 to 24 hours, Islamabad and numerous Punjabi cities are predicted to experience rain, thunder, severe winds, and windstorms. Authorities are advising inhabitants to exercise caution.

Murree, Rawalpindi, Attock, Gujar Khan, Jhelum, Chakwal, Gujrat, Gujranwala, Hafizabad, Sialkot, and Mandi Bahauddin are included in the prediction; further rainfall is anticipated in Narowal, Sargodha, Jhang, Faisalabad, Lahore, Sahiwal, Kasur, Okara, Burewala, Dera Ghazi Khan, Multan, and Bahawalpur.

Over the next 12 to 24 hours, rain with thunder, strong winds, and windstorms is probable in portions of Punjab, Sindh, Balochistan, and KP, while snowfall is predicted in the upper and mountainous regions of Gilgit-Baltistan, Azad Jammu and Kashmir, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Chitral, Dir, Swat, Kalam, Mingora, Battagram, Peshawar, Mansehra, Abbottabad, Haripur, Swabi, Nowshera, Mardan, Charsadda, Kohat, Karak, Bannu, Lakki Marwat, Tank, Dera Ismail Khan, and Waziristan are among the KP regions most likely to be impacted.

Authorities cautioned that flooding might occur in several parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, including Peshawar, Nowshera, Charsadda, and Mardan, and that it might last until April 5.

Over the next 12 to 24 hours, rain, thunder, and heavy winds are predicted in some parts of Sindh.

Karachi, Hyderabad, Thatta, Badin, Sujawal, Jamshoro, Dadu, Khairpur, Sukkur, Larkana, Jacobabad, Shikarpur, Ghotki, Naushahro Feroze, Shaheed Benazirabad, Sanghar, Umerkot, Tharparkar, Mirpurkhas, Tando Allahyar, and Tando Muhammad Khan are among the places that could be impacted.

Over the next twelve to twenty-four hours, rain is predicted in several parts of Gilgit-Baltistan and Azad Jammu and Kashmir, including Skardu, Hunza, Gilgit, Ghanche, Astore, Diamer, Kharmang, Shigar, Ghizer, Nagar, Muzaffarabad, Bagh, Rawalakot, Haveli, Poonch, Kotli, Mirpur, Bhimber, and Neelum Valley.

Over the next 12 to 24 hours, rain, severe winds, and windstorms are predicted in a number of Balochistani locations. Quetta, Zhob, Loralai, Dera Bugti, Ziarat, Kalat, Qila Saifullah, Qila Abdullah, Chaman, Pishin, Barkhan, Sibi, Nushki, Khuzdar, Awaran, Washuk, Panjgur, Turbat, Gwadar, and Lasbela are all included in the forecast.

Strong winds, lightning, and hail might harm vulnerable buildings, trees, crops, and power lines, according to the NDMA, which has instructed provincial and district officials to stay vigilant for potential severe weather. While snowfall in hilly locations may impede transport and persistent downpours increase the risk of landslides, rain can cause traffic disruptions and make roads slick. It has been recommended that citizens avoid needless travel, drive cautiously, and adhere to official directives. When traveling to northern regions, travelers should check the weather and road conditions ahead of time. The NDMA’s official app, Pak NDMA Disaster Alert, provides rapid updates.
