The Kurram River overflowed in the Punjab district of Mianwali, resulting in a flood crisis.

Rescue 1122 reports that the flood of the Kurram River in the Kundal Chhrawala area of Isa Khel Tehsil caused water to enter homes, trapping multiple persons in the impacted homes.

Rescue 1122 teams in the impacted areas have reportedly begun rescue efforts to move the stranded individuals to a secure location, according to sources.

157 persons have been rescued and relocated from the flooded areas by the teams thus far.

However, the effort is being overseen by District Emergency Officer Engineer Naveed Iqbal and involves 60 rescuers, five boats, a rescue truck, and five ambulances from Rescue 1122.
