PM Shehbaz assesses fuel stockpiles and subsidy policies while promising public relief.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has stated that helping the average person is still a major concern and that the government will not abandon residents during trying times.
The prime minister was briefed on the execution of subsidies while presiding over a review meeting on petroleum reserves and relief measures amid regional tensions in Islamabad. Officials reported that operators of goods transportation and public transportation are now receiving financial support via digital wallets.
According to Shehbaz Sharif, digital transfers of subsidies for trucks, buses, vans, and other cargo vehicles have been started under an open and effective system. The administration is working to guarantee prompt help for economically vulnerable groups, he continued.
He reaffirmed that the government’s first duty is to assist the people during difficult times and stated that the money saved from austerity measures would be used for public welfare.
The prime minister was also reassured by officials during the discussion that there are enough petroleum reserves to suit the demands of the nation.
The conference was attended by high officials, including Special Assistant Talha Burki, Ali Pervaiz Malik, Attaullah Tarar, and Federal Minister Musadik Malik.
