Bilawal says he will support the government’s mini-budget.

PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has stated that his party will back the PML-N-led federal government if it chooses to present a mini-budget in the midst of an impending global economic catastrophe, even though he acknowledges that every Pakistani is carrying the burden of the ongoing conflict in the Gulf.
Speaking at a ceremony on the anniversary of former prime minister Zulfikar Ali Bhutto’s death in Larkana on Saturday, Bilawal denounced the war against Iran as unlawful and vehemently denounced the deaths, including the killing of innocent schoolgirls and the martyrdom of Iranian leaders.
He warned that the Iran war has already had an impact outside of the region and poses a risk of spreading farther around the world. He claimed that some forces intentionally pursue such agendas because they thrive on hatred and division.
The PPP leader expressed optimism that hostilities would soon cease and peace would return, stating that war is not a solution to any issue.”Every Pakistani bears the burden of the war between Iran, the United States, and Israel,” he said, adding that those who attack Iran, Palestine, Lebanon, and other nations cannot look down on Pakistan.
Bilawal highlighted the internal situation, pointing out that the nation is experiencing an economic crisis and historic inflation. However, he stressed that provincial governments, including the federation, are making a contribution by reducing funding for public relief.
According to Bilawal, the PPP’s Sindh government has made the decision to financially support both public and commercial transport services in order to prevent fare increases in light of the rising cost of gasoline.
He continued by saying that steps are being taken to help carriers impacted by the rise in diesel prices in collaboration with the federal government.
According to the PPP head, each province would pay money from its own resources to a federal fund that will help transporters and stop fare increases. He did concede, though, that given the severity of the situation, such actions might not be adequate because the public is already suffering greatly.
Bilawal underlined that in order to give the needy as much assistance as possible, the federal and provincial governments would act in accordance with their available resources.
He claimed that the Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP), a transparent system that now provides financial aid to all four provinces, ought to be used more wisely.
In order to help the people, he encouraged the federal government to grow the program and boost its funding. He stated, “If the federal government brings a mini-budget for this purpose, we will support it,” indicating that PPP is prepared to accept challenging economic choices that serve the interests of the country.
Since it’s uncertain how long the current scenario will last, he urged motorbike owners and small farmers to register. He cautioned that the federation and provinces might need to work together to create a more comprehensive public assistance strategy if the situation persists.A scheme to provide small farmers with financial support through a Kissan Card has been created by the Sindh government and will soon be introduced. Motorcycle owners will also receive help from the provincial authorities. It is the responsibility of the citizens to make sure their cars are registered in their own names.”Only the person whose name the motorbike is registered will receive relief,” he stated, adding that the transfer cost for vehicle ownership has been abolished to make this process easier.
The PPP president also expressed gratitude to the PTI and Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa president Minister Sohail Afridi for their collaboration during these trying times, saying that national unity should be prioritised over politics and that national consensus in such situations is a healthy step.
He emphasised that cooperation is required to solve the present difficulties and stated that leaders in several provinces, including Punjab, Balochistan, and Sindh, are taking action to provide relief.
According to Bilawal, the nation’s greatest strength is its togetherness. “No force in the world can defeat or destroy Pakistan if we are together. God willing, the people and peace will prevail as our country bravely faces this challenge,” he continued.
He thanked Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, his grandfather, for providing the nation with the nuclear weapon. “The Zionist powers which are attacking Iran, Palestine, Lebanon and Syria, if they are not doing the same to Pakistan, it is because of Bhutto’s given atomic bomb.”
He reaffirmed that his grandpa took the risk of securing atomic power even though he was well aware that it would cost him his life to provide his nation with a nuclear weapon.
