Board matric exams in Karachi have been rescheduled for April 10.

The Board of Secondary Education Karachi (BSEK) Secondary School Certificate (SSC) exams, which were supposed to commence on April 7, will now begin on Friday, April 10.

In a statement, Ghulam Hussain, the head of the Board of Secondary Education Karachi, stated that the decision was made to better accommodate students throughout Karachi.

However, the Private Schools Association has claimed that because the Board of Secondary Education Karachi did not give pupils their admit cards in a timely manner, the exams have been postponed.

According to sources, the late submission of exam forms caused the tests to be postponed. Thousands of forms were submitted over the last three days with late fees, however many schools were unable to submit the forms by the deadline.
