Mohsin Naqvi commends Tableeghi Jamaat for its useful services.

On Sunday, Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi met with prominent Tablighi Jamaat officials at the international Tablighi Markaz in Raiwind. They discussed issues pertaining to religious meetings and the accommodation of foreign delegations.

He met with religious academics and elders from Bangladesh and India, as well as Maulana Amjad Farooq, Maulana Aamir, Anwar Ghani, Imtiaz Ghani, and Maulana Mudassar Shaheen.

The interior minister expressed gratitude for the Tablighi Jamaat leadership’s contributions and efforts in advancing Islam, stating that their role in doing so was praiseworthy and spiritually significant. Additionally, he praised their role in fostering harmony, religious consciousness, and constructive interaction among Muslim communities.

He stated that the government is still dedicated to making sure that international participants have a seamless experience, and that supporting religious preaching events is both a duty and a matter of goodwill.

Foreign delegations from Bangladesh and India thanked the minister for his complete cooperation in issuing visas, saying they had no problems this year because of better facilitation. They hailed the efforts of Pakistani authorities and expressed gratitude for the preparations.

The interior minister was also invited by Bangladeshi delegates to join the next international Tablighi congregation in their nation.

In addition to guaranteeing full cooperation for the yearly congregation, the interior minister stated that special counters would be set up at airports once more this year and that entire facilitation of visa procedures would continue for international delegations.

Additionally, prayers were said for Pakistan’s peace, development, and prosperity as well as for the unity of the Muslim Ummah.
