Six people from Mandi Bahauddin are killed when a Libyan migrant boat capsizes.

A vessel transporting migrants from Libya to Europe encountered a catastrophic incident, leading to the drowning fatalities of six young men from the Mandi Bahauddin district.
Reports indicate that the yacht was carrying 105 individuals from Libya to Italy when it capsized close the coastline.
Approximately 30 people were successfully recovered, while search and rescue activities persist for the other individuals.
The deceased and missing persons comprise five youths from Village Thatha Kadiwala, Phalia Tehsil—Tayyab Abbas, Irfan Bashir, Tanveer Sadiq, Faizan Sajid—alongside Iqbal Arshad from Village Ranmal Sharif and Saad Zafar from Pindi Lala.
One survivor, Imran Asghar Ghuman, arrived in Italy and notified his family about the incident from a refugee camp.
The horrific event has left families bereaved, with grief permeating their households, while the local community prays for the safe return of lost relatives and the welfare of the rescued.
